This vessel sustained damage to the fuel tank which resulted in approximately 700 litres of unleaded petrol to flow into the bilge around the batteries and other electrical powered components creating an extremely high risk, explosive situation.
The emergency was taken under control with the assistance of the Marina staff, MSQ / AMSA, and all the emergency services and the local Redcliffe Coast Guard, a job well done by everyone involved
